Five recognizable stages of Grief

  • Denial and Isolation
  • Anger
  • Bargaining
  • Depression
  • Acceptance
Each person goes through these stages of grief...but no one goes through them exactly the same way or in the same order as someone else....

Grief while a "shared" emotion [in that almost everyone eventually grieves the loss of someone/something]....is a very unique emotion [in that we each grieve our own way]

Don't compare your grief to someone else's.....your grief is your own....

  • Mourning: is the actions or feelings of someone who mourns; specifically the expression of grief at someone's death.
